Sorry about the lack of posts. I'm horrible at blogging but that's okay. :) Since the last post, 76 items have been collected with promises of more! The orphanage in Krementz, Ukraine that is awaiting these items generally has between 50-75 kids; once enough money for shipping is raised the items can be off!
Shipping is the worst thing about this project. It stresses me out beyond belief. If all of my guess-timations are correct, it will cost roughly $300 to send. That's $4 a scarf. It doesn't seem like much but to me, a high school senior, it's tons. If you'd like to donate that would be awesome just send me a message. Also, if you could pray for this project, the kids in Krementz, and my stress levels that would be wonderful. :)

theproject.

Here's pretty much what thejames2:16project is all about....
I'm a junior in high school and this year for my tag project I chose to create a service project to knit hats, scarfs, and mittens to send to an orphanage in the Ukraine. I suppose this blog is to help spread the word, teach me some technology skills, and have an easy place to tell a plethora of people information. If you are interested in helping that would be so amazing! Please shoot me an email. Right now we're in the early stages of getting everything going so we need pretty much everything... ha :) If you'd like to donate yarn, needles, or something that you've made please let me know. Everything helps. Thank you. God bless. :)
